  1. This painting is an excellent example of the ideals expressed during the Renaissance. It is a unique painting that illustrates the author's individual personality. Humanism is expressed in this painting because the scene depicted is of two Greek mythological characters, Ariadne and Bacchus (Dionysis). Also, the painting is secular because it is not focused on religious or spiritual subjects.

  2. This painting shows individualism in the people's expressions and clothing. The clothing they are wearing still show the beauty and muscles of the human body. It also shows humanism because it doesnt show the Greek people are higher on the totem pole as them.

  3. This painting displays all three Renaissance qualities: humanism, individualism, and secularism. It shows individualism in the way the people are all different. They can all be easily distinguished from one another in their facial expressions and body movements. The Greek gods in the painting show how they Renaissance people studied the Classics and reflects their Humanistic tendencies. They also display secularism, because the Christian God and religion are not shown and the Greek gods are.

  4. This painting is most definitely a renaissance piece. The depth and style the artist uses shows the qualities of that time period. As Cleopatra said, it shows individualism in the fact that each person has a personality and can be distinguished. Also showing humanism in the fact that the people have different facial expressions and emotion and show it physically.
